The bulbs are top shaped, medium sized, firm with a red exterior colour and red exterior inner scales,.The outer scale leaves are lighter red and the bulbs have with medium to thin necks. It shows fair storage quality, good bolting tolerance. When ripened, the bulbs are mildly pungent. The onion matures in about 90 days producing up to 25-30 tonnes per acre.
